Sarbjit Kaur
Founder

Sarbjit Kaur is an award-winning communications professional with a background in journalism and government. After leaving Queen’s Park, where she served as Senior Advisor to a cabinet minister in four government ministries and worked in the civil service, she launched her own firm, Kaur Communications. She was also a Senior Associate at Argyle PR for almost a decade.

A seasoned PMP certified professional with a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives across communications, telecom, and financial services sectors. Possessing a strong financial acumen and analytical mindset, Jas excels at translating complex business objectives into executable program plans.

 

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performance teams to achieve exceptional outcomes while optimizing resource allocation and managing intricate dependencies. With a strong emphasis on process improvement and risk mitigation, she has consistently achieved measurable results in revenue growth, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. Proven expertise in developing and implementing robust program governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.

Cristina Adu
Senior Consultant

Cristina is a seasoned journalist with nearly two decades of experience covering high-profile news stories for the country’s top newsrooms.

Prior to joining KAPOW Communications, she served as a correspondent for CTV National News' Toronto Bureau, providing content and reporting for TV, radio, and web affiliates across the country. She also served as a reporter and anchor for more than a decade at CP24, Toronto’s 24-hour breaking news channel, and held roles as a reporter/anchor at CHCH News in Hamilton, and as an investigative producer at CityNews Toronto. Cristina was a respected member of both the Queen’s Park and the Toronto City Hall Press Galleries. In recognition of her contributions to journalism, Cristina was named the CTV News 'Journalists for Human Rights' Fellow, in which she worked with, mentored, and advised journalists in Kenya, Tunisia, and Turkey.

Her lengthy media career in news and journalism, and her leadership amongst industry peers makes her well- positioned to guide clients through the evolving media and communications landscape.

Natasha Euteneier
Senior Consultant

Natasha Sonja Euteneier is a Toronto-based Corporate Event Specialist with a solid background in public relations and event management within the real estate and investment sectors. She has a proven track record of successfully organizing and executing events that align with client goals and enhance brand visibility.

 

Natasha’s experience includes sourcing sponsors, managing vendors, and coordinating logistics for high-profile events, such as Canada’s largest real estate investment conference. She is skilled at developing new business opportunities and delivering exceptional results through effective communication and problem-solving. Natasha is bilingual in English and French, with basic German language skills.

Sean Mallen

Sean Mallen
Senior Associate

A seasoned communications advisor and former international journalist with over 30 years of experience, Sean Mallen provides strategic counsel to governments, corporations, educational institutions, and non-profits across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. He specializes in crisis communications, media and presentation training, strategic communications, and speechwriting, supporting senior leaders, diplomats, and major organizations in navigating complex public and media environments.

 

An award-winning broadcaster and former Global News journalist, Sean served as Europe Bureau Chief in London, Queen’s Park Correspondent, and host-producer of the influential Focus Ontario program. He is a four-time recipient of the Radio-Television News Directors Award for excellence in broadcast journalism. Sean also hosts and produces The Social Purpose Exchange, a podcast exploring the evolving role of corporate social impact.

Nicholas Colin 
Consultant

A Toronto-based marketing and events professional, Nicholas Colin brings experience across clean technology, capital markets, and investor relations. He supports investor engagement, government relations, and strategic communications through international presentations, industry events, and capital markets initiatives across North America and Europe.

Nicholas has coordinated corporate participation in major trade shows, managed logistics for national industry events and Indigenous conferences, and supported stakeholder outreach and digital brand communications. His work includes producing corporate content for web, social media, and trade publications.

More recently, Nicholas has worked in investor relations and capital markets operations, supporting public company IR teams through stock surveillance, shareholder reporting, and market analysis. At Cboe Canada, he worked on the Trade Desk supporting broker relationships, client certification during technology migrations, and the adoption of digital private markets platforms.

Myra

Myra Rahim
Consultant

Myra is a skilled communications professional based in Mississauga, Ontario, with a background in media production. She has experience producing high-quality broadcast content for Sportsnet and City News, showcasing storytelling and strategic messaging skills.

Passionate about bringing these skills to Public Relations and Corporate Communications, Myra is pursuing postgraduate studies at Humber PR to deepen her expertise in corporate messaging, media relations, and strategic content development.

Focused on delivering measurable impact while maintaining creative insight, Myra excels in high-stakes PR campaigns and complex communications projects. She is a versatile professional, crafting messages that build brand reputation and drive results across corporate, media, and external audiences.

Sara Nayyar 

Intern

Sara is a student at McMaster University studying psychology, currently working on her undergrad thesis. She volunteers at the McMaster Student Union’s Women and Gender Equity Network as a peer support volunteer. She is an executive member of her university’s chapter of Amnesty International. She supports the team in all manner of tasks.

Hamreen Kour 

Consultant

Hamreen brings an analytical approach to KAPOW, specializing in data-driven strategy. She excels at transforming complex project requirements into streamlined, actionable workflows that drive measurable results.

Prior to joining KAPOW, Hamreen honed her communication skills at a GTA multicultural TV station. As a broadcaster, she interviewed prominent politicians, community leaders and more. , This unique background allows her to translate high-level objectives into messaging that resonates across diverse audiences. 

A graduate of Seneca College’s Marketing program, Hamreen seamlessly applies strategic marketing principles to the corporate world.
